For anyone looking at joining the planned trip this weekend, here’s a few handy pointers:

Opened in 1977 to mark the Silver Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II, the Achray 3 Lakes Forest Drive trail consists of seven and a half miles of winding forest road. Enter from the Duke’s Pass road to enjoy superb views across the forest towards the Trossachs.
